With this, whenever anxiety looms near, the person will have a conscious effort and better coping mechanism against it. Hypnosis is among the other popular complementary anxiety treatments as well. Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation where the hypnotherapist can find a way to help you face your fears and look at them in the completely new perspective.

The goal of all these anxiety treatments is increased awareness of self and the body. As long as control over the mind and body is not achieved, then successful coping against anxiety will never be achieved. It takes a simple step from you towards a total body and mind well being. Random Fact: In 1997 I was diagnosed with a severe case of general anxiety disorder. I was on medication for it for 2 years and then weaned myself off. I haven't been on anything for it since, and I don't care to restart. But lately the anxiety has been eating through me again, and I am kind of a mess.
